The architects of the birds.

Got a once in a life time chance to see a beaver's nest up close. My friend brought in this nest for a close observation all through the hatching process. A beaver's nest is one of the worlds most intricately designed structures as its a really tough job to create such a beautiful structure for a bird. And, this beaver bird does it better than anyone else would've. Take a look...

Tailor of houses
A beaver starts making the nest even before it has made plans of laying an egg. It almost travels 200 km to and fro to places in order to get the best leaves, twigs and sometimes even needles. And, as you can see, stitches the whole nest together making a firm, sturdy and well protected nest.

Just hatched
See, how fragile the newly hatched beaver looks. It's so fragile the the nest has to be ready to give it the proper temperatures for survival otherwise it won't be able to survive. And all this is done by the beaver and beaver only. All by itself. It's interesting how the little bird does all this on it's own.
Beauty of mother nature.
