I know it's been a while since I last blogged. But you see, giving board exams from a family who boasts world class engineers is not easy. Now you’ll say the boards finished a month ago and I'm just making excuses. But after rigorous studies for a long month you deserve the humongous break they give you. And after I got bored of this huge holiday. I’m back here. Doing what I never get bored of. :P

This time, honestly, I couldn't find a common topic to blog under and find suitable pictures I have clicked. So, what felt like an escape or rather solution to this problem was hence ‘Randomize’.

You can't keep a photographer stuck to one topic and one topic only at a time, unless of course if you’re paying them. His/her mind wanders for sure. When the mind wanders, it forces you to click Images varying from a leaf close up to a busy marketplace. (Yes, that’s the extent of mind wandering :P)
So, when I was simply scrolling through the pictures I had clicked, I came across these that I felt you all should have a look at. So, here they are..

Jack of all trades

This is one more of the many that I clicked at Mahabaleshwar, Maharashtra.
To be honest, what made me frame him was that I saw him playing around with a little monkey near by.(You’ll see monkeys often if you visit the place).
He was tossing peanuts and fruits and what not to the little creature. But when I asked him to do that once more so I could capture it with my lenses. He simply refused. Wonder why..

The other day, when I was simply looking out of the window, I normally don’t. I noticed this little piece of I don’t know what. Maybe cotton or something. But it simply was fluttering perfectly in the gentle breezes that it made my pull out my camera and click it. Its damn weird that I’m posting this one, but I just liked it. I wonder why..

Master Poseur

I was at Della Adventure Park, Lonavala. (It’s the biggest adventure park in Asia as it claims)

I saw this little mesmerizing kid who simply looked too cute to not be clicked. But the moment I went closer and took out my camera and started clicking him, he gave me perfect poses at just the right angles. It sure was quite fascinating how he did that naturally, but it just was that way.

So, just as I told you, the extent of wandering our brains give us is huge and in my case, all the way from a portrait to a little kiddo to a piece of cotton.

It feels good to be running my fingers on the keyboard again.

On The Top

Yes, this was the feeling I was getting on the way to Mahabaleshwar & Panchgani. A road trip is the only way to reach there cause Railway tracks can't be laid in such rough terrains on which roads were made with difficulties.

Panchgani, being an educational hub, is a very quiet and peaceful place. Its a small town filled with lots of residential schools and junior colleges. Its a place where one can only find peace and hostels!

But, just 16km away is the hill station Mahabaleshwar. Its place filled with spots (or points as they call it) overlooking the mountains and the terrains. 

Points like Elephant head and monkey points are basically mountains that have withered and taken shapes of different animals, accidentally and have been termed as ponts to visit. Mahabaleshwar is a really busy place and due to the lack of infrastructural development, it is really con-jested and you can easily find yourself stuck in a bottle head.

My trip to this beautiful place was amazing. A 5 day trip. Also, I celebrated my Diwali at Panchgani where I was staying during this trip.

Diwali, the festival of lights is one of the most anticipated festivals of Hindus. Earlier it was only the Hindus who used to celebrate it, but coming down the years, people of all religions have come together to enjoy this 5 day festival, this year lasting from 3-7 Nov.

Now, Panchgani & Mahabaleshwar

Panchgani was the first place I toured as it was closest. Panchgani, apart  from the natural cool & peaceful environment had just one more attraction to it. The Table Top.

Yes, that’s what the name is. It is called the Table Top as it is a plateau, surprisingly on top of a mountain. It’s a flat land and when seen from a distance it looks like its the end of land. And not just the looks, it actually is the end of the land and going further would lead you to a 2000 feet free fall.

Due to the rugged terrain and dangerous edges, cars are not allowed and the only means of transport is either on foot or on these horse-carts.

On my way to Mahabaleshwar from Panchgani, I saw loads of strawberry plantations and Marigold flower plantations.

Little red delicacies 

These shining red strawberries were very prominent there 'cause of the cool weather making it best for strawberries to grow. These strawberries were given utmost care, like you can notice above in the picture, the strawberries aren't allowed to grow over direct soil and is made to rest on a sheet of plastic run under it.

Tagetes

It was a memorable trip to these twin cities. These cities have loads to be explored off. One really interesting thing I saw at a point named [Sydney] point was a scorpion. Most people were scared and were telling their children to stay away, but curiosity does’t let you stay away.

So I went forward and clicked the amazing little beast.

The hundred legged

The hundred legged- The centipede

Centipedes are probably the most legged insects in the whole variety of insects existing on our earth and luckily these are present in huge numbers in India and probably the world. A couple of them reside in the soils of some of the plants at my home. One of them as you have seen in my last post.

So, I was seriously getting bored of my daily preparations of the upcoming exams and wanted to put my camera to work and just as I was looking for the perfect object to click I saw these little tiny insects.

Hence, without waiting for too long I started off.

But just as I had began clicking I noticed that these insects were really getting scared of the flash of my camera. All of them were running into the soil and hiding and weren't visible at all. So, I decided to wait for sometime and let them come back up to resume clicking

I went back after an hour and started clicking. It was tough clicking them. not because they are tiny but because they are extremely fast.They used to start running again as soon as my camera would flash. I had to click almost continuously in order to get the perfect image.

Sometimes they used to start cooperating with me. They used to stand still for like a minute after every flash. Maybe they found out that i was just clicking them and started to pose.

I clicked many pictures of these little centipedes but this one just took away my heart. Loved this one.

These little creatures are so hard to compare with words I just couldn't find words to describe everyone of them.

Now that my exams are over and normal day-to-day life is resuming, I may find more things to click

Frangipani

Now, most of you guys would be first of all thinking what the title actually means. So, a little about the title.
Frangipani is a species of flowers scientifically called thee Plumeria. It is a genus of flowering plants in the dogbane family, Apocynaceae. It contains seven or eight species of mainly deciduous shrubs and small trees. They are native to Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean, and South America as far south as Brazil but can be grown in tropical and sub-tropical regions.
Now, for a more general way of describing. It is a plant in my balcony and is one of my mom's favourite. (My mom loves gardening). So, I was studying for my maths exam when I casually turned around and saw this plant looking as if it was posing for a click. I simply couldn't resist clicking. Soon, the maths books were away and my main focus went onto this little plant.

 I haven't got the ability to describe everyone of these clicks, but they sure have been clicked indivisually for that's what they mean to me. Every click of mine is absolutely special to me. Have a look.

Yesteryear's Pride

Forgotten Pride of the Past.

Today's India has thousands of 2-wheeler companies producing millions of vehicles everyday. We get to see lots of 2-wheelers in and around the city. Surveys suggest that there is one bike every two citizen of in country. So, basically, there are innumerable number of bikes in India. But, think about 10-15 years ago. We didn't have so many companies, so many models and so many bikes in the country. But, during that time, owning a 2-wheeler was considered a luxury and if you owned a 4-wheeler, you're among the richest of the city. But, those days, the bikes didn't dominate the 2-wheeler segment but, the scooters did. The roads were filled with Vespas and all sorts of scooters zipping past the cars and other vehicles. And one of the most successful scooters was the Bajaj Chetak. The Bajaj company started the production at only some certain factories as they were not sure of the success but, as the productions grew, the waiting list and dates farthened and Bajaj started producing them at all possible factories. Yes, it was a must for all the studs and flirts of the town who rode around the city with their lovers. But, today there are only a few thousand left who still ride around in their Chetaks. Others are left behind in the crap yards.

Good news!

Hi guys, how are you all?
Now, there are two really good news for all of you.

Lately, I was thinking that all these photos that I share with all of you need to be shared with the world as well. Of course, I'm sharing with the world but, you know, more efficiently. So, I just came up with this idea of creating a new Instagram account for our little blog. That's good news isn't it?

That's one good news, now here's the other one. I don't know whether you guys have noticed or not, the pictures that have been uploaded don't have a watermark. (What's a watermark?) Watermark is a transparent logo kind of a thing that is applied to pictures to protect it from being stolen. So, if someone tries to steal my pictures they won't be able to as it will have a stamp of interconnectd in it.
So, in order to protect these pictures I created a watermark for our very own blog!
You will be able to see the watermark in the next pictures I upload. So, keep that curiosity running and wait for the next post!

The Nature's players

As the title suggests this one is yet again a post related to nature, it's wonders and it's ingredients. Nature is never complete without us, the living beings, the animals. The leaves, the animals, the insects all these are just a  few to be named that make up the nature and complement it to the best possible limits. And so, after capturing a few images I somehow realized that all that I have clicked so far are all a part of the nature and not man made by any way. Just the gift of god directly to this beautiful nature.

I live in Mumbai, a place where one of the most important people of the world live. And it's quite obvious that they live in tight security and are almost impossible to keep track of. But, there is no security in the world which can protect you from these stalkers. They very confidently roam around your house no matter who you are and how important you are. Yes, these are the insects that are always a sighting especially in the rainy season. This one was playing I guess in my home. Lying upside down.

 The nature, like I said is never complete without it's living aspect. That's the trees, plants and most importantly, the animals. Here's introducing you to one the major parts of my family. My little turtle. A turtle being one of the longest surviving creatures of the world living up to 100-150 years at an average also have a religious and cultural history to them. They are said to bring luck to your entire family and are said to be god's creatures who take all your worries away and mount them on their back.
This little one is nothing like it's fellow counter parts. It completely destroys the myth that turtles are lazy & slow commuters. This one is so energetic, it jumps out of its tub and runs around in the house all on itself. Ha! Sometimes I have a hard time looking out for it!

One different then all

"You need to be really lucky in order to see the nature's ultimate."

I actually experienced this saying when I walked pass one of the nature's ultimate makings. I was just strolling in the garden when this suddenly caught my eye. It was a semi-transparent leaf. Semi-transparent leaves are really rare as they are formed when dead leaves fallen off the trees are left undisturbed for a considerable amount of time under the sun and lose out all their color and finally are left only possessing it's veins. It's even more difficult to find in regular gardens as most people step over fallen leaves or are sweeped away by the cleaners. It's so beautiful to find magical things that nature does, so silently and you have to be really attentive to spot these things. Glad I didn't miss this one. 

Magical nature's delight

The nature never stops to amuse you. You just need to be ready to accept it. The nature will always leave you astonished when you're least expecting it.
I received all these gifts in the form of sights and glimpses. No one can be a better chooser than the nature itself in the making and being able to experience it is even better. :D
